He worked his way up the ranks to senior General Manager of Protea Hotels (21 years) before moving as Operations Director and then Group Commercial Director at BON Hotels. During his time at Protea Hotels, Charl was the recipient of a number of prestigious Protea Hotels Awards. He is motivated by hard work, attention to detail and has a no-nonsense attitude that has earned him an esteemed reputation in the industry.

From an initial background in digital marketing for high tech companies, Jenna has gained her experience for overseeing and delivering innovative technology capabilities at a range of companies around the world, going on to found her own successful software development company. Allister Esau
Allister Esau is the Culinary Arts Consultant for Chefs’ Hangout and Director of the South African Chefs Association; Chef Allister started his culinary experience in the United Kingdom in 1995. Working his way from dishwasher to chef in London. Returning to South Africa, he joined the Protea Hotel Group, where he achieved his qualifications as a Chef. Allister worked in 3 to 5-stars Hotel Restaurants and achieved the award of Chef Graduate of the Year. Training and consulting to industry has given Chef Allister a greater overview of the hospitality sector and its industry demands.

Costa was then swiftly promoted to the front office department. Costa's stand out ability, drive and ambitious nature boosted his progression within the Protea ranks. Costa supported Protea Hotels rapid expansion into the rest of Africa. Costa’s expert experience in all aspects of hotel management gained from his time with Protea Hotels took the leap into the entrepreneurship sector Offering Sales, Marketing and Business Development services directly to independent hotels and owners. With the key objectives to drive hotel opportunities within the Angolan hospitality sector and key Portuguese speaking markets in Africa.
